Series “Notes on the subway floor” captures story about inner life in mindset of a nomad, where it clearly interweaves with external activities, justifying the fulfilment of irrational activities, such as lonely – seemingly purposeless modes of movement.
Since there is an emptiness/ unfulfillment in every human being, life becomes a metaphor for a path of search that reflects one self’s beliefs.
Some believe in a monk life far in mountains, others – in a shinier car, some in lover’s underwear.
I think it is very important, regardless of what person has found, to acknowledge, it is only a road sign.
In my artwork I am dealing with Personal Magical realism.
Works are made in form of part-time meditation, where the view transforms into a yearn for something within oneself.
